14 Days / 13 Nights Mansarovar Yatra Overland

Upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, you will be greeted and assisted by our representative. After completing your customs formalities, you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay at the Kathmandu hotel.

Yatra Briefing: Before dinner, a short briefing about the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra will be conducted.

Accommodation: Hotel Mandala Norling / Lord Prime (Twin Sharing)

After breakfast, proceed for a Kathmandu city sightseeing tour. Visit Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Jala Narayan Temple (Sleeping Vishnu), and Kathmandu Durbar Square (Home of the Living Goddess Kumari). Later, drive back to the hotel for packing and preparation for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, our representative will pick you up from the hotel and drive to Kyirung (145 km | Approx. 5–6 hours). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for relaxation and acclimatization before continuing the journey. Overnight stay at a guest house in Kyirung.

After breakfast, complete the immigration and customs formalities at both the Nepal and China border checkpoints. Once the formalities are completed, continue the drive to Gyirung County (35 km | Approx. 1 hour | 2,800m). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay in Gyirung.

After breakfast, the day is free for acclimatization. You may explore Gyirung County, take a leisurely walk around the local area, or enjoy some shopping at your own pace. This rest day helps your body adjust to the increasing altitude before continuing the journey. Overnight stay in Gyirung County.

After breakfast, drive to Saga (270 km | Approx. 6–7 hours | 4,500m), crossing the magnificent Brahmaputra River along the way. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Tibetan Plateau and surrounding Himalayan landscapes during the journey. Upon arrival in Saga, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay in Saga.

After breakfast, drive towards the sacred Lake Mansarovar (470 km | Approx. 8–9 hours | 4,550m). Enjoy the spectacular views of the vast Tibetan Plateau and the majestic Himalayan landscapes throughout the journey. Upon arrival at Lake Mansarovar, transfer to the guest house for check-in. Overnight stay at Lake Mansarovar.

Accommodation: Pramath Ashram (Dormitory Room with Common Bathroom)

After breakfast, begin the Mansarovar Parikrama by vehicle (102 km | Approx. 3 hours). Take a holy bath in the sacred Lake Mansarovar and perform Puja (Prayer Ritual) and Homa. After completing the religious rituals, continue the drive to Darchen (58 km | Approx. 1.5 hours | 4,600m). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay in Darchen.

After breakfast, take a short drive to Yamdwar and visit the sacred Yama Dwar, the starting point of the Kailash Kora (Parikrama). Begin the 12 km trek (Approx. 7–8 hours) to Diraphuk, passing along the spectacular western face of Mount Kailash. During the trek, you will have the opportunity to witness the magnificent north face of Mount Kailash, one of the most sacred and breathtaking views of the pilgrimage. Upon arrival in Diraphuk, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay in Diraphuk.

After breakfast, begin the trek towards Dolma La Pass (5,630m) and continue to Zutulphuk (22 km | Approx. 12 hours). This is the most challenging day of the Kailash Kora, as you will cross the highest point of the pilgrimage at Dolma La Pass. From the pass, descend to the sacred Gauri Kund and continue trekking alongside the river towards Zutulphuk. Upon arrival, transfer to the guest house for check-in. Overnight stay in Zutulphuk.

After breakfast, begin a short trek (8 km | Approx. 2–3 hours) to the designated point where our coach will be waiting. From there, drive back to Darchen and join the other group members who remained there. Continue the journey by road to Saga. Upon arrival in Saga, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay in Saga.

Note: If you are not participating in the Kailash Parikrama (Kora), you will stay in Darchen until the Parikrama is completed and then rejoin the group for the onward journey.

After breakfast, drive to Gyirung County (270 km | Approx. 7 hours | 2,800m). Enjoy the scenic journey across the Tibetan Plateau before arriving in Gyirung. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay in Gyirung County.

After breakfast, drive to Kathmandu (200 km | Approx. 8 hours | 1,300m). Complete the immigration and customs formalities at both the China–Nepal border before continuing the journey to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, we will present you with an Appreciation Certificate for successfully completing the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Later, you will be transferred to Kathmandu International Airport for your final departure, carrying unforgettable memories of this sacred pilgrimage.
